Mary Frances Kennedy, 89, of Savannah, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026. She was born August 19, 1937 in Cherokee, North Carolina. Daughter of the late Francis Edward Lepscier and Maybell Winkler Lepscier, and preceded in death by her husband, Francis Carlyle Kennedy.

The visitation will be at Fox and Weeks Islands Chapel this Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 3:30pm until 4:30pm followed by a Rosary at 4:30pm. A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be at St Peters Apostle Catholic Church at 11:00am, Monday, November 2, 2026. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery.

Mary graduated from Murphy High School and Sacred Heart College in NC. She was employed at Sol C Jonhson High School for many years in Savannah. She enjoyed time with family and friends and traveling in her retirement. Mary was a generous, nurturing lady who touched many lives. May she rest in peace knowing that she is loved and will be remembered.

Survived by her children, Mary Kekahbah, Frank Kennedy (Lynn), Laura Kline, Chelle Felix (Don), Bo Kennedy (Tonya); her sister Sandy Fussell (Jim); her cousin Linda Knight; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
